How can BroadbandCareers help me advance my career?
BroadbandCareers currently has several areas designed to assist you in advancing your career,
with more on the way. The best way to start is to visit the Career Seekers page. From there you can:
- Explore the extensive BroadSearch® Jobs Database where market leading telecom
companies present their latest employment and benefits information for
your review. Many also include information about their products and
services as well as a link to their current career opportunities where
you can respond online to the positions that interest you.
- Search the extensive
BroadSearch® Directory for companies in your area of interest,
then go directly to their career listings. Search for specific positions with the
BroadSearch® Directory utilizing
your preferred criteria of job/industry categories and geographic locations
that interest you. Then, respond online to all that meet your career
objectives.
- Post your Resumé -
at no cost - to the BroadSearch Directory Resumé Database where leading telecom companies will view it. Employers will then be able to notify
you, via your preferred medium, of their interest in discussing their opportunities
with you. A Confidential Profile allows those Career Seekers who require
confidentiality to post their career abstract and industry objectives
in an undisclosed manner, yet with all the same functionality of a full-contact

Why should I submit my Resumé or Confidential Profile
to the BroadSearch® Resumé Database?
There are a couple of very good reasons. First, not all career opportunities
at a given company are posted on their corporate site, or even the large job boards
where the company may be a member. Today, companies are looking to target their
recruitment campaigns -- and list their hottest positions -- on industry-specific, vertical career sites.
Another advantage to posting your resumé or Confidential Profile to BroadbandCareers is that you can respond directly
to the job listing recruiter who's responsibility it is to find you.
This ensures that you will be considered for that specific opening by the very hiring managers who will make the ultimate

How do I submit my Resumé to the BroadSearch®
Resumé Database?
Very easily. Again, we recommend you start at the Career Seekers page and click
on Submit Resumé. Your browser will then display a very easy-to-use form.
Just complete the form, paste your ASCII text resumé in the box provided and
click Submit Resumé to Database. Back to top
What if I forget my Username and Password?
No worries ... Just go to the My BroadbandCareers page, type in your email address (the one you used at initial registration) and press "Click Here for Login & Password". You will receive
an email message with your confidential Username and Password. Please be sure to enter your email address exactly
as you did upon registration. Need Login Help? Back to top
Am I able to post a "confidential" Resumé?
Certainly! Just check "Confidential?" on the registration page and be
sure to omit any identifying information from the resumé itself. Your
Confidential Profile will provide you the same networked functionality as a full-contact resumé
-- linking you with the latest in career opportunities, while maintaining your anonymity. Please

Am I able to change the "confidential" nature of my resumé?
Yes, anytime and very easily! From the My BroadbandCareers
page, log into Career Manager, then select Personal Profile and display your Confidential Profile. Change the "Confidential?"
check button accordingly, make any other desired changes and re-save.
Be sure to make the appropriate changes to your resumé using Edit resumé
to reflect the change to or from a Confidential Profile.

Who will be able to view my Resumé or Confidential Profile?
All employers and companies who have subscribed to a BroadbandCareers membership
package will have access to your resumé. If you submitted a Confidential Profile, employers will not be able to view your contact information. However,
you will be notified by BroadbandCareers, via email, of interested
employers. Back to top
How will interested employers contact me?
You may elect to be contacted directly by an interested employer (unless you submitted a Confidential
Profile), or you can elect to be notified by BroadbandCareers via email, just
as if your information was confidential. Either way, you're networked for opportunity!

How do I view, update, or delete my Resumé?
All three of these functions can be accessed from the My BroadbandCareers page
by logging into Career Manager. You will then be able to view your resumé as employers see it, make any necessary changes, and
either re-save the updated version to the database or delete it. Back to top
How long does my Resumé or Confidential Profile remain active?
All Resumés submitted to BroadbandCareers remain active
for a period of 90 days. You will receive an email message after 90 days reminding you to re-save it for another 90-day cycle,
should you so desire. Otherwise, your resumé will be place in our archive, available to employers only if they choose to search it.Back to top
Am I able to submit multiple Resumés to
the database?
You may submit multiple versions of your resumé, if you wish. However, we recommend
having no more than two versions posted and will automatically delete
more than three resumés from the same person. Please be sure to read our Site

How do I respond to jobs online?
When you have selected a job listing that you would like to respond to, just
press the "Send Employer My resumé" button provided at the top
of the job listing, or the "Apply/Send Resumé" link at the bottom of the job listing. The job listing contact will be notified immediately
of your interest. If you have not yet submitted your Resumé or Confidential Profile to the BroadSearch Directory Resumé Database, a link is provided
here that will take you to the Registration page. Back to top

companies and growing, this exclusive feature of BroadbandCareers
was built from the ground up by BroadbandCareers to provide you with a core resource for identifying
and contacting broadband companies of interest -- regardless of whether
the company is a member advertiser. Access to the BroadSearch® Directory requires a purchase.
Free listings in the
BroadSearch® Directory are available upon request
for qualified, companies. For our members and job listing companies,
